You are currently viewing How to Select the Right Cartoner

When it comes time to select the right cartoner for your business, there are a few key factors you’ll want to consider. Important considerations include the types of cartoners available, the carton closure style, the desired output speed, and the size and shape of your products.

Types of Cartoners

Econocorp offers two main types of cartoning machines – horizontal end load and vertical top load.

Horizontal End Load

Horizontal end load (sometimes called side load) cartoning machines are fast and accurate. They are perfect for any speed requirements and allow manipulation at any point during the cartoning process. Econocorp end load cartoners can operate anywhere from 10 up to 120 cartons per minute. We offer both intermittent and continuous motion end load cartoners for a variety of cartons, including gable, full flap seal end, open sleeve, straight tuck, flip top, hexagonal, double hanger panel, open corners, and more.

Our end load cartoners include:

Mini Monoseal
Twinseal
E-System 2000
Spartan Cartoner
Econo-60
Pegasus Cartoner

Vertical Top Load

Our vertical top load cartoners are the best choice for top load case packing applications. Ideal for lower output applications such as hand loading, our top load cartoners can handle outputs of 25-40 cartons per minute. Open top, corner lock with hinge, top load, jacket style, and hooded cover are all popular carton styles for top load cartoners.

Our top load cartoners include:

V-System
Reverse Triseal
T-System

Product Dimensions

When selecting a cartoner, you will also need to consider the size and shape of your product and type of cartons you choose to package your product. Cartoners come in a variety of sizes, so it is important to choose one that can accommodate your product and packaging objectives.  Here at Econocorp, we can customize our cartoners to meet your product’s exact specifications.

High-Quality Cartoners for Your Business

The type of product you are packaging, the speed of the cartoner, the size and shape of your product, and the need for automation (or not) are all important factors to consider when selecting a cartoner. By taking these factors into account, you can ensure that you choose the right cartoner for your business. Econocorp provides a full line of cartoners to meet the demands of any production line.
