The Wrap-Around Spartan is a specialized version of Econocorp’s proven Spartan Cartoner, re-engineered to automate the forming, loading, and sealing of wrap-around cartons, cases, and trays. Built with the same rugged construction and compact footprint as the original Spartan, the Wrap-Around model provides efficient, space-saving secondary packaging designed to fit a wide range of products and industries.
Operating at speeds of up to 20 cartons, cases, or trays per minute (product size dependent), the Wrap-Around Spartan minimizes empty space around products—improving pallet stability and optimizing material usage. Working with corrugated materials, this versatile machine delivers the reliability, flexibility, and efficiency that Spartan equipment is known for.
The Wrap-Around Spartan forms a tight-fitting case or tray around products to minimize void space and ensure a secure, stable package. A flat blank is partially formed into a "U" shape, where products are either hand-loaded or automatically loaded using optional collators or loaders.
Once loaded, the system applies hot melt glue to multiple closure points and seals the blank securely around the product. This consistent, repeatable process ensures high-quality packaging for a wide variety of applications—whether in a full wrap-around case or an open-top tray.
