Now, as the July 4 holiday arrives, Econocorp will head into its annual one week plant shutdown to allow employees to recharge their batteries and return to work refreshed and ready for another outstanding year.
The Importance Of a Fiscal Year
A fiscal year is a 12-month accounting period that tracks a company’s performance and growth. Financial statements must be published at the end of year fiscal year for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to review. Some companies keep their fiscal year-end in sync with the calendar year-end of December 31, but other companies like Econocorp prefer to distance the fiscal year-end from the resource intensive holiday season.
Trade Shows Across the World
Econocorp spent 2017-2018 participating in many one-of-a-kind trade shows and conferences around the world. From June 5 to June 8, Econocorp participated as a vendor at EXPO PACK Mexico with more than 1,000 other companies. Next came the ProPack Asia event from June 13 to 16, where Econocorp leaders spent time connecting with trade buyers, international suppliers, and innovative technologies.
